To really be understood, you must take the time to understand who you are talking to. 

Since childhood I’ve been interested in the concept of how people understand (and don’t understand) each other. An early interest in foreign languages snowballed to include psychology, cognitive science, and design—all of which have given me insight into different methods of effectively communicating. As a Creative Director, I have been able to mix it all together to create conversations and experiences that are rooted in a deep respect for both my clients and their audiences. 

I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Digital Humanities at the CUNY Graduate Center. Engaging in conversations around Public Scholarship, Public History, Digital Memory, and the handling of sensitive narratives has given me additional perspective and skills to ground my creative and strategic practices in raising awareness of marginalized communities.
