It’s about being part of something bigger than yourself.

Brooks Running believes that running can change the world—and with 25% of the running shoe market—a lot of people agree with them. For Global Running Day, they wanted to celebrate this belief with their community and beyond.

Run It Forward is all about taking that joy you generate when you run, and using it to power more positivity in the world. We asked runners to pledge miles in honor of those they love, their communities and the environment—and share their stories with Brooks online. Some dedicated their runs to lost loved ones, ran with a friend or shared playlists, while others ran in costume to bring joy to everyone they passed or plogged (picked up litter as they ran) to do their part for the environment.
